What we collect

What you send us. The form on this site asks for your name, phone number and email address, and gives you a box to describe the problem. If you call or text 360-410-2199, we have your number and whatever you tell us. If you email sasquatchpest@gmail.com, we have your email address and your message.

How the site is used. Google Analytics records that a page was viewed, roughly where in the world the visitor was, what kind of device they used, and which site sent them. It also records when somebody taps a phone number on this site, so we can tell which pages lead to calls. We do not see who you are from this — it is counts, not names.

Server logs. Our host records the ordinary details of every request: the page, the time, the browser, the IP address. This is how every website on the internet works, and it is how a host handles abuse and outages.

Who else handles it

Four companies touch data from this site, and each one does a specific job:

• GoHighLevel runs our contact form and holds the enquiries that come through it. The form is theirs, embedded in our page, so what you type goes to them and then to us.
• Google provides Analytics, described above.
• Vercel hosts the site and keeps the request logs.
• YouTube appears only on pages with a film, and only after you click the picture to start it. Until you click, nothing is loaded from YouTube and it does not know you were here. We use their no-cookie player.

Phone calls and text messages

If you give us your phone number, we use it to answer you and to arrange and confirm service. That may be a call or a text, whichever suits.

We do not send marketing texts, and we do not sell or share your number with anyone who wants to. If we ever text you and you would rather we did not, reply STOP and we will stop. Reply HELP if you need to reach us about it. Your carrier may charge for messages.

Cookies

Google Analytics sets cookies to tell one visit from another. Nothing else on this site sets one — there is no advertising network here, no tracking pixel, and no session cookie, because the site has nothing to log into.

You can refuse cookies in your browser settings, or install Google's own opt-out add-on. The site works normally either way.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become jobs are kept while they are still useful to follow up, and then deleted. Records for work we have actually done are kept for as long as Washington requires a commercial pesticide applicator to keep application records, and for as long as we need them to honour the guarantee on that work. Analytics data is kept for fourteen months and then aggregated.

What we do not do

We do not sell your information. We do not trade or rent it to other companies, we do not share it with advertisers, and we do not pass it to other pest control companies as a lead. The only time your details leave the companies named above is if the law requires it.

Asking us to delete your information

Email sasquatchpest@gmail.com or call 360-410-2199 and ask. Tell us the name and number you used so we can find you. We will delete what we are not required to keep, and tell you plainly what we have to hold on to and why.

You can also ask us what we hold about you, and we will send it to you.

Children

This is a business site for homeowners and property managers. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect anything from anyone under thirteen. If you believe a child has sent us something, call and we will delete it.

Changes to this page

If what we do changes, this page changes with it, and the date at the bottom moves. We do not quietly rewrite it.
